A 50-year-old woman is in “extremely critical condition” following a south Phoenix crash that also involved a 4-year-old boy, officials said Tuesday.
The T-bone crash occurred late Tuesday afternoon near 63rd and Southern avenues, the Phoenix Fire Department said.
The woman was extricated from her vehicle and taken to a local trauma center, fire officials said.
A total of four people were transported to hospitals after the crash, including two other adults with minor injuries. The 4-year-old boy injured in the accident was in stable condition early Tuesday evening, officials said.
