Looking for somewhere to celebrate this Fourth of July? The Valley offers a variety of venues to choose from to enjoy a plethora of celebratory activities, including fireworks.
No matter where you call home, there’s a Fourth of July spectacular right in your backyard. We will be rolling out one of four picks each day, leading up to July 4.
Westgate Firework Fest
Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale will be holding their annual Fireworks Fest Tuesday, July 4 with food, live entertainment, a beer garden and water features for the kids.
Cool off in the splash pad in Fountain Park while enjoying a DJ, face painting and dancing games. Also check out new free water zones with games and kid-friendly activities located near the fire trucks on Westgate Boulevard. The fire trucks will be shooting water from their fire hoses.
Westgate’s Waterdance Plaza will offer the beer garden and two bands: The Instant Classics and Club Country.
More than a dozen Westgate restaurants will have Grab and Go Dinner Deals and snacks to enjoy before the fireworks.
The fireworks start at 9 p.m.
“Westgate Firework Fest is the only completely free event in the Valley with free admission and free parking coupled with family-friendly activities, music on two stages for adults and kids, a beer garden and more than 20 restaurants to eat and drink before watching the fireworks,” says Jeff Teetsel, Westgate development manager.
