The Arizona State football team has secured its seventh commitment for the 2022 cycle, the latest addition being safety Tristan Dunn of Sumner High School in Washington.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pounder is a four-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite, making him the fourth athlete with a four-star ranking by at least one of the major recruiting services. He is ranked 217th overall, 17th at his position nationally and No. 4 in the state of Washington.
Dunn’s recruitment was spearheaded by ASU defensive backs coach Chris Hawkins. He had eight offers, with Pac-12 rivals Arizona, Utah, and Washington State among them. He visited ASU last month.
Out of the seven 2022 pledges, three are defensive backs. The two others are also four-star prospects in Jaylin Marshall and Alfonzo Allen, both out of Miami Central (Florida).
