Louisville at North Carolina State, 5 p.m., ESPN: NC State QB Ryan Finley hasn’t thrown an interception this season. He went to high school in Arizona.
Friday, Oct. 6
Memphis at UConn, 4 p.m., ESPN: Memphis coach Mike Norvell has his team off to a 3-1 start to the season, but the Tigers did fall last week to UCF.
Boise State at BYU, 7:15 p.m., ESPN: These two teams are a combined 3-6 on the season. That’s definitely not what they have come to expect in Boise and Provo.

Georgia at Vanderbilt, 9 a.m., ESPN: Georgia has allowed a combined three points in its two SEC wins. Can Vandy put some points up on the board?
Iowa State at Oklahoma, 9 a.m., Channel 10 (FOX): Oklahoma had a week off to prepare for this game and it is at home. Recipe for disaster for Iowa State?
Penn State at Northwestern, 9 a.m., Channel 15 (ABC): Penn State has Michigan, Ohio State and Michigan State in its next three games.
Wake Forest at Clemson, 9 a.m., ESPN2: Can anyone in the ACC give Clemson a test? Maybe NC State or Florida State in November?
Air Force at Navy, 12:30 p.m., CBS Sports Network: Navy is 4-0. Air Force is 1-3. Records don’t seem to matter when these two teams play.
LSU at Florida, 12:30 p.m., Channel 5 (CBS): How long will Ed Orgeron last at LSU? That loss to Troy was ugly.
Miami at Florida State, 12:30 p.m., ESPN: Florida State got in the win column last week. It will be much tougher to take down the 3-0 Hurricanes.
Notre Dame at North Carolina, 12:30 p.m., Channel 15 (ABC): Notre Dame’s lone loss was a 20-19 setback against unbeaten Georgia.
West Virginia at TCU, 12:30 p.m., FS1: TCU: These offenses love to put points on the board. This game could be a great one.
Maryland at Ohio State, 1 p.m., Channel 10 (FOX): Can the 3-1 Terps give the Buckeyes a game in Columbus?
Kansas State at Texas, 4 p.m., FS1: Bill Snyder can coach. The Kansas State Wildcats team is now 3-1 on the season.
Alabama at Texas A&M, 4:15 p.m., ESPN: Kevin Sumlin’s team has bounced back nicely from a 1-point season-opening loss at UCLA. A win here would be huge.
Michigan State at Michigan, 4:30 p.m., Channel 15 (ABC): Keep an eye on Michigan State QB Brian Lewerke in this one. The Arizona high school product needs a big game.

Wisconsin at Nebraska, 5 p.m., Big Ten Network: Nebraska could really use a big win over Wisconsin. That’s easier said than done.
Stanford at Utah, 7:15 p.m., FS1: Bryce Love can flat out run with the football. Can Utah contain him in Salt Lake City?
