Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a 28-year-old man suspected of fatally striking a bicyclist while driving under the influence in 2006.

Officials said a vehicle driven by Christopher Joseph Flores hit Jason Wedo as he was riding his bicycle near McKellips and Dobson roads, on the Salt River Reservation near Scottsdale, the morning of Sept. 23, 2006. 

Flores was arrested at the time but was later released by the court, Silent Witness spokesman Sgt. James Rothschild said. 

Flores’ whereabouts are now unknown, Rothschild said. 

Anyone with information on Flores’ whereabouts is urged to contact Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
