Do you know what to do if you’re in an accident?

A semitruck overturned during an accident involving several other vehicles eastbound on Interstate 10 in the southeast Valley on Thursday night, officials said.

As of about 6 a.m. Friday, the HOV and two other lanes were open, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

However, there was no estimated time as to when all of the lanes will be open again, ADOT said.

Two eastbound lanes were blocked near Ray Road in Chandler.

ADOT freeway-camera photos showed the truck on its side blocking the far right lane and shoulder.

Traffic was able to maneuver around the accident using the HOV and left lanes.

Fire officials said up to six vehicles were reported involved in the accident, but injuries appeared to be minor. Crews from Phoenix, Tempe and Chandler responded to the accident.

Hazardous-materials crews also were called to the scene, fire officials said.

Further details on the accident were not immediately available.
