Scottsdale police Monday evening were investigating what they said was a possible murder-suicide.

Two people were found dead at a home near Hayden and Chaparral roads, according to Officer Kevin Watts, a Scottsdale Police Department spokesman.

Police did not expect traffic to be affected by the investigation and did not believe area residents were in danger, Watts said.
