Officers are evacuating all nearby residences after an officer-involved shooting in Cave Creek on Sunday. 

The shooting happened near Cave Creek Road and Desert Willow Parkway, and the intersection is currently closed because of heavy police activity in the area. 

“The situation is still extremely active,” said Officer Alan Pfohl of the Phoenix Police Department.
