A suspect was shot and injured by Phoenix police on Thursday morning.

Sgt. Alan Pfohl said he would be briefing the media about the shooting, which occurred in the area of 2600 E. Roosevelt Road.

It was the 29th time police shot someone in Maricopa County this year.
