Walking is great for your health, but there’s one important risk to watch out for when you’re walking.

Police are searching for a driver whose vehicle hit a pedestrian on the Interstate 10 eastbound off-ramp near Seventh street Saturday.

The eastbound I-10 off-ramp was closed Saturday morning as police investigated.

The driver left the area after the crash. Police did not have a description of the vehicle.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call the Phoenix Police Department or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
