Nine people have been indicted on charges of drug distribution in Arizona, the FBI’s Phoenix office said Thursday.

The FBI’s Violent Street Gang Task Force made the arrests in Phoenix and Tucson, the agency said in a press release.

The drug distribution charges involved methamphetamine, fentanyl, heroin and cocaine, officials said. Weapons charges also were included in the indictment, the FBI said.

Eight of the suspects were taken into federal custody without incident.

They were identified as: Mohamed Farah, 29; Daniel Gallegos, 54; Mastour Mohamed, 42; Kajon Cox, 38; Howard Wong, 24; Samer Hussein, 22; Duraid Hussein, 24; and Quran Nunnally. 42

A ninth person, 31-year-old Valentino Majak, was already in custody on a separate charge.

In addition, Perry Dean Martin, 58, was at the home at the time of the arrests. He was only included when it was discovered he had an outstanding warrant out of Oklahoma. Details were not available.

The charges stemmed from incidents occurring between March and June of this year, according to the indictment, which was handed up in October.

The arrests were made last month, the FBI said.
