A Mesa woman and her young daughter who were reported missing Sunday have been found safe, Mesa police said.

Deanna Grace Delgado and her 7-month-old daughter Gracie Rose Stewart returned home safe Monday, according to Mesa police.

Mesa police had been lookingfor the 29-year-old woman and her daughter after her family reported they had not been heard from since Sunday evening.

Delgado and Stewart, had last been seen about 6 p.m. Sunday when Delgado’s sister dropped them off at their home near Southern Avenue and Horne Street, police said.

Delgado sent a message to her boyfriend saying that she had Gracie and her stroller but had not been heard from until Monday.
