Phoenix police are searching for the person who who shot and seriously wounded a man at a home near 19th Avenue and Indian School Road early Sunday.
Phoenix police responded to reports of shots fired at the home at about 3:40 a.m., according to department spokesman Sgt. Armando Carbajal.
Officers found an adult male with a gunshot wound, Carbajal said. He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
Carbajal said police were still searching for the shooter.
Police did not provide any information about the events leading up to the shooting. The incident was still under investigation.
