A man featured in a video released Sunday is wanted in connection with the May 13 robbery of a Metro PCS store in Phoenix, authorities said.

Shortly before 9:30 a.m., a man walked into the store near 32nd Street and Greenway Road and pulled out a gun, escorting two employees into the back room, according to a Silent Witness statement.

“He doesn’t just steal the money and leave right afterwards,” said Sgt. James Rothschild, a Phoenix police spokesman.

The man lingered in the business and placed the gun to the head of one of the victims, Rothschild said.

Then he ordered the employees to crawl on their hands and knees to the back of the building before fleeing the the scene out the front door.

Police said the man was last seen running south from the store.

He is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 160 pounds, with acne on his face and a possible ponytail that was tucked into his hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to Silent Witness at (480) WITNESS. Rewards are offered for any information that leads to an arrest.
