A carjacking left one man with gunshot wounds in the early hours of Sunday morning near South Phoenix, according to Phoenix police.
Officers, responding to reports of gunfire just before 4 a.m., found a man with gunshot wounds near 19th and Southern avenues. The man was then taken to a hospital with serious injuries, police said.
The man told police that an unknown suspect shot him and stole his car, a gray BMW, police said.
