A man was shot during an argument in Phoenix late Wednesday afternoon, according to police. 

The shooting occurred in the 5800 block of West Granada Road about 5:30 p.m., Phoenix police said.

Witnesses told officers two men were arguing when one shot the other, Phoenix police said.

A man between 18 and 25 years old was shot and taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries, officials said.

An older man who was involved remained at his house and cooperated with officers, police said.

Further details were not available. The investigation is ongoing, police said.
