A man was seriously wounded after a shooting Wednesday night in Phoenix, and witnesses were not fully cooperating with police, officials said.
Officers responded to call of a shooting near Grand Avenue and Encanto Boulevard around 10:30 p.m., according to Sgt. Andy Williams, a Phoenix Police Department spokesperson.
When officers arrived at the location, they found a man with a gunshot wound.
Phoenix fire crews took the man to a hospital for a life-threatening injury, Williams said.
There were witnesses on the scene, but Williams said they “were not entirely cooperative.”
This investigation is ongoing.
