Nice-looking visitors

The overhead scoreboard at the Final Four is impressive, as is the floor that was constructed by a Michigan company.

Neither is staying in Arizona.

The giant scoreboard, which is 13,000-square-feet, belongs to GoVision Colossus TV. The company makes it available for other events. Besides, it couldn’t stay suspended at University of Phoenix Stadium. There’s the whole retractable roof challenge. And the scoreboard hangs so low that punts likely would hit it.

(Insert your Cardinals punter joke here.)

The floor at Final Fours is traditionally made available to the winning school. The winner buys it to do with it as the school sees fit.

The starting price for the court is $150,000, and the cost rises depending upon the graphics on the court.

Enterprising marketers at schools probably want to chop the thing up and sell pieces to fans. I think it would be cool to move it intact to the student recreation center.

The winning school has 30 days to decide on the purchase.
