Former Glendale Deer Valley High standout Khris Davis has 10 home runs this season for the Oakland A’s.

Only two players have more this season (Washington’s Ryan Zimmerman, Milwaukee’s Eric Thames each have 11).

Davis is batting .268 for Oakland this season. He has 17 RBIs and has walked 15 times. He has struck out 29 times.

The outfielder, who is in his fifth year in the majors, continues to improve his home run totals.

He had 11 home runs with the Brewers in 56 games in 2013. In 2014, he had 22 home runs in 144 games.

Davis had 27 home runs in 121 games in Milwaukee in 2015. He hit 42 home runs last season in Oakland.
