Innings Festival 2020 will bring Dave Matthews Band, Weezer, Death Cab for Cutie, Portugal. the Man and more to Tempe Beach Park and Arts Park for the third year Saturday, Feb. 29, and Sunday, March 1.
The baseball-themed event also will feature appearances by MLB legends including Hall of Famers Trevor Hoffman and Jim Thome.
There’s plenty of action in Left Field, a portion of the park set aside for baseball-themed activity, where you can test your skills at the Virtual Home Run Derby, Steal a Base, Game Saving Catch and the Batting Cage.
Taking part in the baseball activities is free. Visit guest services by the entrance to sign a waiver or just show up at the activity and sign the waiver there.
Returning for a second year is Off the Mound with Ryan Dempster, a talk show featuring interviews with and performances by MLB players past and present, along with artists from the festival lineup. See schedule below for details.

The box office is at the southeast corner of Mill Avenue and Rio Salado Parkway.

Food and drink at Innings Festival
The following restaurants will be at the festival: Island Noodles, Dilla Libre Gourmet Quesadillas, El Jefe Tacos, Farmboy American Fare, Hoss Doggies, Hot Bamboo, Pork on a Fork, Romega Taqueria, Fresh Shave, the Spot and White Mountain Food Co.
Beverage options include Corona Beach House, Hazy Little Lounge, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, Milagro Cantina and Tito’s Homemade Vodka Stardust Lounge.
Credit cards and cash are accepted. There are no ATMs on site.
For iPhone users, Apple Pay is accepted throughout the park. The Innings Festival mobile app has discounts and promotions for Apple Pay customers.
Tickets to Innings Festival 2020
Single-day tickets are $99; two-day tickets are $159.
General admission-plus single-day tickets are $168 (Saturday is sold out); GA-plus two-day tickets are $266. These tickets include shaded seating at the main stage, air-conditioned restrooms, a bar and complimentary water and soft drinks.
Single-day VIP tickets are $295 (Saturday is sold out); two-day VIP tickets are $585.
VIP tickets include a VIP lounge at each stage; a viewing platform at Home Plate stage and viewing area at Right Field stage; seating, air-conditioned restrooms, complimentary beer and water plus cocktails for purchase at both lounges; premium entrance to the festival; preferred pricing for locker rentals with mobile charging.
Single-day platinum tickets are $675 (Saturday is sold out); two-day platinum tickets are $1,200.
Platinum tickets include on-stage viewing at Home Plate stage; front-of-stage viewing at both stages; Platinum Clubhouse lounge with bar at each stage; lunch and dinner buffet in the Home Plate Clubhouse; shuttle transportation between stages, shaded seating and air-conditioned restrooms in both lounges; concierge service; complimentary lockers with mobile charging and other perks.
Children age 7 and under get in free with a ticketed adult.
How Innings wristbands work
Wristbands allow you to purchase food, drinks and merchandise without opening your wallet each time. Wristbands purchased before the shipping deadline have been mailed out. If you have not received yours 72 hours prior the start of the festival, call 888-512-7469.
If you purchased your wristband after the shipping deadline, bring a valid photo ID to get your wristband at the box office.
Activate your wristband before entering the park to save time. Or, you can activate it at the Wristband Registration Tent just inside the main entrance. Wristband activation guarantees that the wristband is associated with the person wearing it. You can add an emergency contact to your wristband info.

At the festival, fans can link their wristband to a credit or debit card to pay at food vendors, bars and merchandise tents.
How to get there and where to park
The Innings Festival is Tempe Beach Park and Arts Park, 80 W. Rio Salado Parkway.
There is no parking at the festival. Fans are encouraged to take public transportation, use ride sharing, walk or bike.
Biking: Parking is just west of the main entrance off Rio Salado Parkway. Bring your own lock. Tempe Bicycle Action Group will offer a complimentary bike valet to get to you to the festival.
ADA and ride share: Pick-up and drop-off are on Ash Avenue between Third Street and Rio Salado Parkway.
Public transit: Fares on Valley Metro light rail and local buses are $2 for one ride or $4 for one day. Purchase at a vending machine at rail stations, on board the bus or at a retail location. Find out more at valleymetro.org/fares.

Valley Metro Rail: Use one of the 11 free park-and-ride locations to access the light rail. Use the Mill Avenue and Third Street station to get to and from Tempe Beach Park. Visit valleymetro.org/park-and-ride for information.

Entering the park and bag search
All bags will be searched before you enter. You may bring small purses and drawstring bags that do not exceed 14 inches by 11 inches by 5 inches. Backpacks and bags with multiple pockets are prohibited.
Hydration backpacks are allowed, but must be empty and have only one additional pocket.
What you can’t bring to the festival
- Smoking and tobacco products.
- E-cigarettes or vaping devices.
- Aerosol containers (including sunscreen and personal beauty products).
- Professional audio/video recording equipment.
- Any camera with a detachable lens.
- Selfie sticks, tripods, monopods, GoPro mounts and attachments, detachable lenses or other commercial equipment.
- Drones or any remote flying device.
- Totems, flags or banners.
- Coolers (exceptions may be made for medical use).
- Framed backpacks.
- Hammocks.
- Glass and metal containers.
- Firearms, explosives, and weapons (including pocket knives, pepper spray, fireworks, etc).
- Illegal and illicit substances.
- Drugs or drug paraphernalia.
- Outside food or beverage (including alcohol).
- Umbrellas.
- Professional-grade radios or walkie-talkies.
- Pets, except for trained service animals.
- Skateboards, scooters, bicycles, wagons, carts and any personal motorized vehicles.
- Tents, canopies or shade structures.
- Unauthorized/unlicensed vendors.
- Unauthorized solicitation and materials such as handbills, flyers, stickers, beach balls, giveaways and samples.
- Large chains or spiked jewelry.
- Bicycles inside the festival grounds. Free parking is available near the entrance.
- Chairs.
- Inflatable furniture.
No liquids through the gate
No liquid are permitted through security checkpoints.
Empty water bottles (plastic or aluminum) or hydration packs are allowed but must be empty and have no more than one pocket in addition to the one holding the water reservoir. Water refill stations are located throughout the park.
What you can bring to Tempe Beach Park
- Binoculars.
- Blankets, sheets and towels.
- Strollers.
- Basic point-and-shoot cameras without detachable lenses and other accessories.
- GoPro cameras without accessories.
- Sealed sunscreen lotion (no aerosol containers).
- Physician-prescribed medication that is not expired. Must show physician’s prescription and consult with a safety officer upon entry.

What to do if you lose something
Visit the Guest Services booth near the main entrance or go to inningsfestival.com/lostfound to see found items or make a lost and found claim. If you find something, turn it into Guest Services.
