Southbound Interstate 17 at 16th Street in Phoenix reopened after a crash forced its closure for nearly two hours, the Arizona Department of Transportation said.
A motorcyclist ran into the rear of a vehicle at 4:17 p.m., said Bart Graves, Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman.
Graves said the motorcyclist was unresponsive at the scene. Additional information was not immediately available.
Traffic was being directed to exit at 16th Street shortly after the crash, ADOT said. The freeway reopened about 6 p.m.
