A man suspected of shooting another man on Tuesday evening stayed at the scene to speak with officers while the man he shot fled the area, Glendale police said.
The man who fled later was found at a local hospital where he was being treated for a serious injury, police said.
Police responded to a shooting call at the intersection of 59th Avenue and Union Hills Drive just after 8:15 p.m.
A man called police saying he had been shot, while another man called police saying he shot someone after being threatened, Glendale police said.
Officers were at the scene investigating the incident Tuesday night.
The shooting suspect is cooperating with police, officials said.
