Gunshots erupted during a planned fistfight near Mesa early Wednesday that stemmed from an argument over a woman online, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
No one was injured and no arrests have been made.
Sgt. Joaquin Enriquez, an MCSO spokesman, said two armed men fired shots when meeting two other men for a fistfight at about 6:45 a.m. near 95th and Main streets.
Both sides had agreed to meet after an argument that began Sunday on Facebook, Enriquez said.
