The MLB regular season is almost complete and several players with ties to Arizona have made a big mark.

37 players that went to an Arizona high school or college (or were born in Arizona) have made MLB appearances this season.

Who has stood out?

No. 1 on the list has to be former Chandler Hamilton standout Cody Bellinger, who continues to impress during his rookie season for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The lone Arizona MLB connection to make the MLB All-Star Game, Bellinger now has 38 home runs in the season, tied for fifth in the league. He has played in 120 games so far this season.

The 38 home runs tie an NL rookie record.
