Chris Iannetta will bat seventh and do the catching on Tuesday for right-hander Zack Godley. David Peralta leads off in left field, followed by A.J. Pollock (CF), Jake Lamb (3B), Paul Goldschmidt (1B) and J.D. Martinez (RF) to round out the top five. Daniel Descalso will play second base and Ketel Marte is at shortstop.

Godley is in the midst of his best stretch of the season, having started two straight games without allowing an earned run. Earning road victories over the Cardinals and Cubs over that 13-inning span, Godley has struck out 12 batters and allowed just seven hits and four walks … The right-hander faced the Dodgers once this season, going 5 2/3 innings and allowing just one run on three hits while striking out six in a 1-0 loss in Los Angeles on July 5 … Maeda has allowed one run or fewer in each of his last four starts, going 4-0 in that stretch with 19 strikeouts in 22 innings … He has allowed 10 runs in nine innings over two starts against the Diamondbacks this season … On April 22 at Chase Field, he allowed a pair of home runs to Yasmany Tomas as well as one each to Jake Lamb and Chris Herrmann.
