A two-vehicle traffic crash forced eastbound Interstate 10 near Picacho to close early Thursday afternoon, officials said.

Four people were seriously injured as a result of the crash, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

The DPS says a black Cadillac struck the rear of a semitruck, resulting in all three eastbound lanes being closed.

Officials say the incident occurred at 11:58 a.m. Traffic was moving along on the frontage road, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
