Chandler police have identified a suspect in a shooting at a shopping center that shattered glass that struck a child Monday morning.
A man fired multiple shots after a dispute with employees of a tattoo shop in a plaza at 590 N. Alma School Road, Chandler police spokesman Sgt. Daniel Mejia said.
Police identified the suspect as 23-year-old Michael David Hart.
Mejia said the child, who is younger than 10, was sitting inside a nearby barber shop when he was struck by glass debris.
The boy was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Hart was still at large Monday evening. He has a tattoo of a crying woman on his neck. Anyone with information of Hart’s whereabouts is encouraged to call the Chandler Police Department at 480-782-4130.
