Buckeye police arrested a man on suspicion of shooting and killing a victim in Tucson early Thursday morning, according to a press release.
The shooting happened near Kolb and Golf Links roads at 3:30 a.m., said Tucson police. The suspect reportedly shot a man and fled.
The release said Buckeye police later received a call about a possible murder suspect at a Love’s Truck Stop near Miller Road and Interstate 10.
Officers arrived at the truck stop and took the adult male suspect into custody.
Buckeye police were still investigating the scene where the suspect and his vehicle were located. Neither the suspect nor the victim have been identified by police.
Tucson detectives were on their way to Buckeye to speak with the suspect and work with Buckeye detectives.
