Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office divers have retrieved the body of a man who went underwater at Bartlett Lake and never resurfaced.

The 20-year-old man drowned near Rattlesnake Cove, according to Sgt. Joaquin Enriquez. 

He went underwater just after noon. Enriquez said the man’s family reported he was not a good swimmer. 

Enriquez said no foul play is suspected. Officials have not released the man’s identity.
