A bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run Tuesday evening, according to Phoenix police.
Police say officers responded just before 6 p.m. to reports that a vehicle was driving east on Baseline Road when it struck a bicyclist who was also riding on the road. The man was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police say the vehicle fled the area before officers arrived. Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact police or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
