The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man suspected of breaking into a home and assaulting a homeowner in San Manuel on Sept. 10.

Deputies were able to identify the intruder as Daniel Torrio after releasing photos and video footage on social media, said Sheriff Mark Lamb.

Torrio used a screwdriver to break into a home in the 500 block of San Carlos Street in San Manuel, officials said.

When the homeowner woke up, he found Torrio standing in his kitchen, officials said. Torrio attacked him with the screwdriver and ran away, officials said.

According to officials, Torrio was booked into jail on a parole violation but will face charges of burglary and aggravated assault.
