The Arizona State mens basketball non-conference schedule is taking shape.

The Sun Devils will participate in the Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational at the Orleans Arena Nov. 23 and 24. ASU will play UC Irvine and Northern Arizona in Tempe as part of the event before playing two games in Las Vegas. Other teams in the field: Xavier, Kansas State, George Washington, Hampton and Rider.

In December, ASU will face St. John’s as part of a double-header in the Basketball Hall of Fame Classic at Staples Center in Los Angeles. USC and Oklahoma are in the other game on Dec. 8.

“We look forward to playing in Staples Center as part of a great doubleheader in the non-conference season. Senior Tra Holder gets one final trip home as we continue our plan to schedule attractive non-conference games at various sites against major conference teams. We look forward to a fun 2017-18 season with a solid mix of returners and newcomers, and a game in Staples Center in December is a great addition to the schedule,” ASU coach Bobby Hurley said in a statement.
