The Arizona Diamondbacks have never been shy about pulling the trigger on trades.
Many have worked out, many have not.
Their most recent trades? The team added some infield depth with the acquisition of Adam Rosales from the Athletics and bullpen help by getting David Hernandez from the Angels before the 2017 MLB trade deadline.
Take a look back at some of the notable trades in the history of the franchise.
July 31, 2017: The Diamondbacks got RHP David Hernandez from the Angels for minor league pitcher Luis Madero.
July 31, 2017: The Diamondbacks acquired Adam Rosales from the Oakland Athletics in exchange for minor league right-hander Jeferson Mejia, 22.
July 18, 2017: The Diamondbacks traded for Tigers outfielder J.D. Martinez, giving up prospects Dawel Lugo, Sergio Alcantara and Jose King in the deal.
Dec. 9, 2015: The Diamondbacks traded Ender Inciarte, Aaron Blair and Dansby Swanson to the Braves for Shelby Miller and Gabe Speier.
June 20, 2015: The Diamondbacks traded Touki Toussaint (minors) and Bronson Arroyo to the Braves for Philip Gosselin.
June 3, 2015: The Diamondbacks traded Vidal Nuno and Mark Trumbo to the Mariners for Gabriel Guerrero (minors), Jack Reinheimer (minors), Welington Castillo and Dominic Leone.
April 2, 2015: The Diamondbacks traded Trevor Cahill and cash to the Braves for Josh Elander (minors).
December 9, 2014: The Diamondbacks traded Miguel Montero to the Chicago Cubs for Zack Godley (minors) and Jeferson Mejia (minors).
December 12, 2014: The Diamondbacks traded Wade Miley to the Red Sox for Raymel Flores (minors), Rubby De La Rosa and Allen Webster.
December 5, 2014: As part of a 3-team trade: The Yankees sent Shane Greene to the Tigers. The Detroit Tigers sent Domingo Leyba (minors) and Robbie Ray to the Diamondbacks. The Diamondbacks sent Didi Gregorius to the New York Yankees.
November 14, 2014: The Rays traded Jeremy Hellickson to the Diamondbacks for Andrew Velazquez (minors) and Justin Williams (minors).
July 31, 2014: The Diamondbacks traded Martin Prado to the Yankees for Peter O’Brien (minors) and player to be named.
July 31, 2014: The Diamondbacks traded Gerardo Parra to the Brewers for Anthony Banda (minors) and Mitch Haniger (minors).
December 16, 2013: The White Sox traded Addison Reed to the Diamondbacks for Matt Davidson.
December 10, 2013: As part of a 3-team trade: The White Sox sent Hector Santiago to the Angels. The White Sox sent a player to be named later to the Diamondbacks. The Angels sent a player to be named later and Mark Trumbo to the Diamondbacks. The Diamondbacks sent Adam Eaton to the White Sox. The Diamondbacks sent Tyler Skaggs to the Angels. December 9, 2011: The Athletics traded Craig Breslow, Trevor Cahill and cash to the Diamondbacks for Ryan Cook, Collin Cowgill and Jarrod Parker.
August 23, 2011: The Blue Jays traded Aaron Hill and John McDonald to the Diamondbacks for Kelly Johnson.
July 31, 2011: The Athletics traded Brad Ziegler to the Diamondbacks for Brandon Allen and Jordan Norberto.
December 6, 2010: The Diamondbacks traded a player to be named later and Mark Reynolds to the Orioles for David Hernandez and Kam Mickolio. The Diamondbacks sent John Hester (April 30, 2011) to the Orioles to complete the trade.
July 30, 2010: The Diamondbacks traded Edwin Jackson to the White Sox for David Holmberg and Daniel Hudson.
July 25, 2010: The Diamondbacks traded Dan Haren to the Angels for a player to be named later, Patrick Corbin, Rafael Rodriguez and Joe Saunders. The Angels sent Tyler Skaggs (August 7, 2010) to the Diamondbacks to complete the trade.
December 8, 2009: As part of a 3-team trade: The Tigers sent Curtis Granderson to the New York Yankees. The Tigers sent Edwin Jackson to the Diamondbacks.
