A man died after a two-vehicle crash in Phoenix early Saturday morning, according to police.
Miguel Hernandez Solorio, 56, did not stop at a red light as he was heading north on 19th Avenue at Grant Street shortly after 5 a.m., police said. His pickup collided with a car heading east driven by a 21-year-old man.
Solorio, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from his vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Phoenix Fire Department personnel.
The 21-year-old man suffered minor injuries. He was evaluated for signs of impairment, but none were found, police said.
The investigation into the crash is continuing.
