Get ready, Phoenix. The mild temperatures are done for the summer.
Phoenix is expected to hit 100 degrees Sunday, and the abnormally cool temperatures that have been sprinkled over the past few weeks are done, according to Travis Wilson, meteorologist for the National Weather Service.
Temperatures are expected to hit 105 degrees by mid-week, Wilson said.

These triple digits are due to the “rigid, high pressure, slowly shifting in our area,” he added.
By late next weekend, temperatures will drop back into the upper 90s.
