Ryan Cleveland, of Sioux Falls, S.D., is no stranger to woodworking projects.
Check out his patio table:
And coolers:
Here’s the story behind each project:
“… For my patio I built a table out of an old wine barrel,” Cleveland says. “I [glued] the top together and [used] the leftover staves from the barrel for the legs and shelf.”
As for the cooler?
“… I decided to build one of these this past winter for our new patio,” Cleveland says. “They are built out of cedar and have 52-quart Coleman coolers in each.”
There’s more to the cooler than meets the eye, he says.
“The [cooler] I kept has a drawer for all my grilling and smoking tools,” Cleveland says. “It also has a storage area for my rubs and seasonings.
“After searching online for wood coolers, I decided to build my own custom cooler because it was cheaper, and I was able to add additional items such as LED lighting, bottle opener, koozie clips and hooks.”
