The 2-year-old girl who was taken from northwest Phoenix earlier this week was found safe in the Las Vegas area on Friday, officials said.
Harmony Dozier was taken on Tuesday by her two “non-custodial” parents, 30-year-old Tiffany Moore and 30-year-old Kenneth Dozier, Phoenix police said.
Police said Friday night the child and the adults were located in the Las Vegas area, and the child has been turned over to Nevada Department of Child Services.
The parents were arrested on suspicion of felony custodial interference by unlawfully taking the child and leaving Arizona, police said.
Police said they are working on getting the child and the couple back to Arizona.
Moore and Dozier are also under investigation for the abuse of Harmony’s sibling, police said, adding the parents lost custody of Harmony during the investigation.
