Five people were taken to hospitals with minor injuries following a rollover crash involving a construction truck Monday morning on Loop 101 in Scottsdale.

The collision restricted traffic along northbound Loop 101 just south of Shea Boulevard.

Kameron Lee, a spokesman with the Arizona Department of Public Safety, said a construction truck rolled over on the freeway just after 6:40 a.m. The two left lanes remained open.

Two other vehicles were involved in the accident, Lee said.

Dan Ables with the Scottsdale Fire Department said five patients were transported to hospitals with minor injuries.

Lee did not give an estimated time for when the wreckage would be cleared.
