At least six people, among them a 9-month-old baby and a 2-year-old toddler, were hospitalized Saturday morning in a crash that involved multiple vehicles in Phoenix, the Phoenix Fire Department said.
Emergency vehicles responded to a 911 call about the accident around 10:30 a.m. near 4th Avenue and Van Buren Street, spokesperson Captain Scott Douglas said.
No extrication from the vehicles was required, but upon further examining the passengers, six people were taken to the hospital.
Two of them, one man and one woman, were in critical condition. Two other women and the two boys were in stable condition. All adults are in their mid 20’s, Douglas said.
Their identities were not released, nor was there more information available on the accident.
Pheonix police were investigating the cause of the accident, Douglas said.
