Phoenix police and Silent Witness released a video showing three men trying to rob another man at gunpoint.
Silent Witness and the Phoenix Police Department released a video Saturday showing three men attempting to rob another man at gunpoint in west Phoenix.
Police said the three men attempted to rob a man at gunpoint before fleeing the area near the 9000 block of West Elm Street at around 12:15 a.m. on June 1, 2017.
Two of the three men were described as black males in their early-to-mid 20s. One is 6 foot 3 inches tall and was wearing a green and brown shirt with jeans. The other man is about 5 foot 9 inches tall and was wearing a red shirt and jeans.
The third man is described as Hispanic, 20 to 25 years old and 5 foot 9 inches tall. He was wearing a red shirt and jeans.
Silent Witness said all three men have a medium build.
The victim fought back but suffered a laceration in the back of his head after one of the assailants repeatedly hit him with the handle of a gun.
