A two-vehicle accident in Tempe sent two people to hospitals on Wednesday night, Tempe fire officials said.

The accident occurred shortly after 7:30 p.m., at Guadalupe and Kyrene roads, officials said.

One person suffered serious injuries that were non-life-threatening and was sent to a local trauma center, officials said.

A second person was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
