Two men are facing charges in connection with the shooting deaths of two men outside a Phoenix liquor store in April.

Kevin Dara Chheng, 24, and Solomon Isaiah Banks, 26, were arrested Friday on suspicion of first-degree murder, according to Maricopa County Superior Court documents.

Banks and Chheng are suspected of killing two men outside of Greenway Liquor, 3502 W. Greenway Road, on April 26.

The probable cause statements said Chheng and Banks both participated in the shootings. The records state other men were with them.

The records do not indicate what prompted the shootings, but said witness statements and video from the scene let police to Chheng and Banks.

Chheng and Banks each face two counts of first-degree murder. Banks also faces an additional charge of hindering an investigation. Chheng also faces an aggravated assault charge.

Phoenix police said Banks and Chheng were arrested on Friday at Banks’ residence.
