Two men are dead and one woman is injured following a shooting inside a restaurant at an upscale shopping mall in north Tucson Friday night.

The deadly shooting occurred at about 7:30 p.m. inside the Firebirds Wood Fired Grill at the La Encantada Mall, said Deputy Cody Gress, a spokesman for the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.

The three victims knew each other and no bystanders were injured as a result of the shooting, Gress said. It appeared all three victims were shot with the same handgun.

The woman suffered an injury to her leg and is expected to survive, Gress said.

Details about what led to the shooting remain unknown and the investigation remains ongoing.
