The cooler weather that blew into Arizona on Friday, along with clouds in the Valley and snow in the high country, will give way to higher temperatures in coming days.

According to the National Weather Service in Phoenix, Friday’s high in Phoenix technically was 70 — at 12:03 a.m., but the afternoon high peaked at 68 degrees, a sharp drop from Thursday’s high temperature of 90.

The cold front that moved through the state brought icy roads and a dusting of snow to parts of northern Arizona, with accumulations of 1 to 2 inches around Flagstaff, according to the NWS.

On this NCAA Final Four weekend, expect sunny skies Saturday with a high temperature of  75, according to the Weather Service. Overnight temperatures will dip into the mid-50s.

On Sunday, the sunshine will continue as temperatures warm up to 82.
