A look at who stood out during Week 9 of the Arizona high school softball season:

Kaytlin Leyvas, Glendale Cactus, C, Jr.

She had the game-winning, walk-off single in the eighth inning of powerful pitcher Lindsay Lopez in a 2-1 win that ended Poston Butte’s 22-game winning streak.

Maddie Bejarano, Cottonwood Mingus, SS, Sr.

Went 22-for-26 in eight games, hitting six home runs (19 on the season), driving in 16 runs, hitting for the cycle in one game. She also stole eight bases.

McKenna Prefach, Gilbert, 3B/P, Sr.

She went 6-for-11 in three games and pitched 10 innings, giving up just one earned run.

Shaylee Ackerman, Mesa Desert Ridge, OF, Sr.

In a two-game sweep of Highland, she went 5-for-6 with nine RBIs and three home runs.

Vivi Martinez, Tolleson, SS, Fr.

She went 5-for-6 with a double, two home runs and eight RBIs.

Brooke Osborn, Gilbert, 3B/C, Fr.

She hit .667 in three games and had a .700 on-base percentage. She had four doubles and a home run.

Heather Whipple, Snowflake, OF, Jr.

Trailing 4-3 against rival Show Low with one runner on base, she hit a walk-off home run for a 5-4 win.

Audrey LeClair, Phoenix Country Day, Utility, Sr.

Went 6-for-7 with eight runs scored and a home run in three games.

Alynah Torres, Cactus, SS, Sr.

She drove in 10 runs in a 3-0 week, hitting her 19th home run. She had six RBIs in an 18-1 win over Peoria.

Lindsay Lopez, San Tan Valley Poston Butte, LHP, Sr.

She hit two home runs in a split of Saguaro and held Cactus, the best power-hitting team in the country, to only two runs, one of those earned, in eight innings in a 2-1 loss.

Katie Sherman, Benson, P, Sr.

Went 3-0 during the week, giving her 24 wins on the season. In a 5-1 win over Morenci, she gave up three hits and struck out 15.

Jenny Escobar, Cactus, OF, Fr.

She went 6-for-7 with four RBIs.

Angelica Tello, Cactus, P, Fr.

She pitched a five-inning perfect game against Peoria on just 50 pitches

Jaden Espinoza, Tucson Sunnyside, INF, Jr.

In two wins, went 6-for-9 with five runs scored, a home run and six RBIs.

Celina Morales, Glendale Raymond S Kellis, 1B, So.

She went 4-for-10 with two home runs, five RBIs and three stolen bases.

Mary Pearce, Kellis, 2B, Jr.

She went 4-for-10 with three stolen bases.

Sidney Roe, Kellis, P, So.

In three games pitching, she struck out 20 and got a win.

Canela Queiruga, Holbrook, 1B, Sr.

She went 5-for-5 with two doubles and two RBIs.

Madison Chappell, Holbrook, SS, Jr.

Went 3-for-7 with a double, triple, homer, three runs, two RBIs.
