Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a Tempe man suspected of aggravated assault, the Tempe Police Department said.

Officers responded to a home in Tempe after the man, identified asĀ Nicholas Elkins, 37, severely assaulted two elderly peopleĀ and stole a vehicle from the home, police said.

Elkins is a known drug user, and is considered dangerous, police said, in a bulletin issued Tuesday night. The bulletin did not specify when the attacks occurred.

The vehicle is a gray 2014 Chevrolet Impala, with a license plate that begins with BLX.
