Phoenix police were on the scene of what officials described as a serious collision near 51st Avenue and Indian School Road on Saturday, according to officials.
North and southbound traffic on 51st Avenue is currently closed from Indian School to Osborn Roads, according to Phoenix police spokesman Sgt. Tommy Thompson. Officials did not provide an estimated reopening time.
Additional details about any injuries or the cause of the crash were not immediately available Saturday morning.
