Many former Arizona high school and college football players have switched NFL teams during a busy offseason.

The latest?

Former Gilbert Highland quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Fitzpatrick had 12 touchdown passes last season for the New York Jets.

He has 166 touchdown passes in his NFL career, which is more than any other former Arizona college or high school quarterback.

Fitzpatrick isn’t the only Arizona connection to switch NFL teams.

Former Chandler High standout Dion Jordan, the No. 3 overall pick of the 2013 draft, is now with the Seahawks.

Jordan, who played college football at Oregon, hasn’t played in an NFL game since 2014. He was cut by the Dolphins last month after four years with the team.

Those four years were marked by suspensions and injuries.

The most notable Arizona connection to switch teams this offseason is probably former ASU quarterback Brock Osweiler, who was traded from the Houston Texans to the Cleveland Browns (will he stay there?).

Former Arizona quarterback Nick Foles left the Kansas City Chiefs to return to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Former Chandler High standout Markus Wheaton joined the Chicago Bears after being with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
