Tempe police said they recovered the body of an unidentified man from Tempe Town Lake shortly before 7 a.m. Friday.
The body was recovered in the area just east of the McClintock Drive bridge and south of the Loop 202, police said.
There were no signs of foul play, police said.
Investigators are asking the public’s assistance in identifying the man, who was described as white or Hispanic, approximately 18-25 years old, 5’11” in height, approximately 113-130 lbs., brown hair just above shoulder length and no tattoos.
He had a small scar on the top right side of his scalp.
Police said he was last seen wearing dark-colored Dockers pants with faint pinstripes, a black -shirt (inside out) with a brown bear in the center of the white rectangle in the middle of the shirt with “California Republic” at the bottom, black Nike shoes (size 10) and white socks.
Anyone with information was asked to contact Tempe police.
