Outlook: Coming off a 3-2 road loss against San Antonio FC, breaking the Phoenix Rising’s four game win streak, the team’s longest this season, the Rising look to continue its playoff push against one of the conference bottom-dwellers, Seattle FC 2. … Last week the Rising were in sole possession of second in the USL’s Western Conference, but after Saturday’s loss, Real Monarch SLC owns the second-place tiebreaker. Both teams currently have 53 points, one point behind conference leader Orange County SC. … In the loss to San Antonio, forward Chris Cortez scored his 14th and 15th goals, continuing his outstanding season. Cortez has the third-most goals in the USL. … The last time these two teams met, the Rising won 1-0 with Cortez scoring the only goal. … This will be the final matchup of the season between the teams. … the Rising will have five matches in the regular season after this one.
